Gary Baker graduated from the University of California Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He then joined Xerox Corporation.

Gary is Senior Vice-President of Coldwell Banker Commercial, a commercial real estate brokerage and consulting firm headquartered in Reno, Nevada, specializing in industrial, office, retail, land and related investment properties.

Mr. Baker began his commercial real estate career supervising sales and leasing in the Valencia Industrial Center. For the past thirty-eight years his principal business has been commercial real estate development and brokerage in Reno and the San Fernando Valley.

Gary has represented numerous corporate clients such as Time-Warner, Home Depot Supply, Lockheed Corporation, Hughes Aircraft, Westinghouse, General Electric, Kodak, Sherwin Williams Paints, Bell System Pension Fund, Lab Corp, and Penske Truck Leasing. He has consummated sales and leases with a cumulative value exceeding $305,000,000.00 involving in excess of 81,000,000 square feet of buildings and land.

Gary served on the Board of Directors of the American Industrial Real Estate Association and presented the Ethics Course to new association members. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Foothill Commerce Center Owner’s Association in Reno and Desert Medical Park Association in Tucson.

Gary Baker has acquired and developed numerous office and industrial income properties which give him a unique “owner oriented” perspective in deal making. He is well-versed in sources of local Small Business Administration financing as well as conventional financing from banks and life insurance companies.

Gary holds real estate broker licenses in Nevada and California. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Reno Crisis Pregnancy Center, a member of  South Reno Baptist Church, and served as a member of the Washoe County Search & Rescue Aero Squadron.

Gary and his wife, Suzanne, reside in south Reno and he is an avid private pilot flying his own aircraft throughout the western United States for business and recreation.
